Chocolate Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients
1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups whole milk
4 large egg yolks
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Whisk in the milk and egg yolks until smooth.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and boils.
Remove from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla.
Stir in the coconut and chocolate chips.
Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the filling is set.
Let cool completely.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and confectioners' sugar until stiff peaks form.
