Chocolate Caramel Fudge Cake

This Chocolate Caramel Fudge Cake is a decadent and delicious dessert that will satisfy any sweet tooth! The combination of chocolate, caramel and fudge is irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

  • 1/2 cup hot coffee or espresso

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

  • 1/2 cup fudge sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.

  • Add the eggs, vanilla, sour cream and buttermilk and whisk until smooth.

  • Add the hot coffee and whisk until combined.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and whisk until combined.

  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.

  • Once cooled, spread the caramel sauce and fudge sauce over the top of the cake.

  • Serve and enjoy!
